The Universidad Latina in Heredia was founded in 1985 and is now considered to be one of the most prestigious universities in Costa Rica. The school's undergraduate and graduate programs were fully accredited in 1990. Today, the school offers undergraduate and graduate degrees covering a wide area of practical sciences, education, and business related fields. There is an enrollment of approximately 2,500 students, growing at a rate of about twenty percent a year. LPI students will have full access to all university facilities such as internet labs, study areas, cafeterias, a library and sport facilities.
